Mr. Faraj successfully defended a Chicagoland area police officer in Cook County Circuit Court on Friday, September 9, 2016, who was accused of twelve counts, six counts of forgery, three counts of mail fraud and three counts of wire fraud. The accused police officer was found not guilty on four counts of the twelve counts in the indictment. The jury deadlocked on eight other counts. The case was prosecuted by lawyers from the Attorney General's office.
