Katie has represented clients in an array of complex personal injury matters, including catastrophic automobile and pedestrian accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, products liability, and roadway design defect cases. Katie's practice also focuses on medical malpractice, elder abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, bullying, and civil rights cases on behalf of individuals. She dedicates herself to ensuring her clients receive the maximum recovery available to them while holding individuals, public entities, and corporations accountable for their negligence. Outside of the courtroom, Katie enjoys spending time with her five nephews and two nieces, reading, cooking, and doing Pilates.

Legal Career
Before advocating for the injured, Katie was a civil litigation defense attorney at a national law firm. She successfully defended, represented, and advised corporate entities and some of the nation's largest insurance companies on various matters involving risk for exposure and liability. Now, Katie uses her unique defense background and experience to protect the interests and rights of those who have been harmed and seriously injured.
Education & Training
While attending law school, Katie was selected as Chair of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and participated in various trial competitions across the state. She was a member of the Southwestern Journal of International Law and served as a Certified Law Clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Preliminary Hearings Division. Because of her commitment to learning and training to pursue a career as an effective trial attorney, Southwestern's Dean selected Katie as the recipient of the "Excellence in Preparation for Trial Practice" Award from the American Board of Trial Advocates, a distinguished award presented to only one student from each graduating class. After graduating from law school, Katie continued to sharpen her trial skills by participating in the highly recognized American Board of Trial Advocates Fellowship. Katie's diverse experience, including working behind the bench and with both criminal and civil trial attorneys, gives her a unique insight into all aspects of litigation.
